I Believe
I Believe
By Franklin Price

I believe what I believe
You may believe it too
What I believe you may not
When it's not right for you
If our beliefs are different
Doesn't make an enemy
We should even talk about it
If that's the way it has to be
We can agree to disagree
What we believe or not
It's about respect for others
And the beliefs that they have got
To believe in something other
Than what I believe is fine
As long as no one else is hurt
Especially me and mine
If you believe in hurting others
That some have no rights at all
Don't expect that I'll respect you
Or help you if you call
Will not aid in your beliefs
Nor offer shelter from the rain
And if you're in my country
You're not welcome to remain
You have no right to be here
And if I may be so curt
I believe you have no rights at all
When you believe in death and hurt
