I Believe

I believe we are created by the Lord.
From the earth the Lord created man.
From this man He removed a rib.
From this rib He created a woman.

For this reason, I do believe,
when a man takes on a wife,
they two become as one,
for the rest of their life.

I also do believe,
the good Lord up above,
sent down to us his Son,
and His everlasting love.

I believe the Son, was born of a virgin.
While on earth He taught men to pray.
He gave up His life, for us, on the cross.
To free us, from sin, what a price to pay.

I believe in the resurrection.
I believe Jesus will come again.
You will see Him coming in the clouds.
When? Only God the Father knows when.
