I Believe

as daylight turns to night
my demons i begin to fight

the burdens i carry around
hold me firmly to the ground

i need a way to free myself
before they take me over

i pray to God to save me
so i can see tomorrow

in my eyes i see a light
very dim but still a light

in my heart i feel hope
so much pain so much to cope

others ahve it worse
who am i to complain

i believe in redemption
a new life begins today

Brandy, God loves you and I love your poetry a gift God has bestowed on you. A tool to reach others who are hurting and feeling the same desperation you are feeling. God Bless. Ron
