I baked you cookies

I baked you cookies

I baked you cookies
Just like I did when you were young
All those tea parties we had together
Imagination, love and fun

Those memories, they still linger
After all these blessed years
We held each other close
Through the storms and all the tears

You were my delightful bunny
You were my teddy bear
You were my little angel
My love forever, my daughter dear

No matter the time or distance
No matter the continental space
We are connected through our souls and cells
We are God's divine love and grace
