I Asked the Lord Today
I sat down with the Lord today.
Told him what a wonderful person
and friend you have been.
Not just to me, but to everyone
you touch.
Always willing to lend an ear or
a hand,
No matter how busy.
I asked him to please watch over
you, and you know what he said?
He said that he knew and he
has been watching over you
even before your heart took
its first beat.
