I Ask

I ask
Very difficult questions but I have no choice than to ask

	Tell me

Why do we document Tithes
Of IN-DI-VIDUALS?
But not offerings
Of IN-DI-VIDUALS?
Why do we document Pledges
Of IN-DI-VIDUALS
But not silver collections
Of IN-DI-VIDUALS?

	I ask
Why does leadership strongly call for Tithers
But cold to the jobless?

There is a lot I’m really thinking of asking
But difficult
	To ask

Though shy
I will soon
            Ask.

Yes
Tell me

Why do you joyfully embrace anyone from another Temple?
But frowns when another embraces one from your Temple?
Is the Church not a gathering of people in Christ?
Or a gathering of people for YOU?

There is a lot I’m really thinking of asking
But difficult
	To ask

Though shy
I will soon
               Ask.
