I Am Yours

Since loving you, there’s no way back
My nerves of steel begin to crack
When you lean in for a tender kiss
We’re laid in bed, this solitary bliss
Rough edges of the words you spoke
Pierce me with every word you wrote
Let your lips clean up this blood
Before the wall lets in this flood
Oh, the water is wading in
My train of thought wearing thin
Let me sink into this dark sleep
Open the gates and let them reap
Forgive me of this minds stimulation
Your touch sets fire to my imagination
Carry on and let our minds entwine
For I am yours, and you are mine
