I Am Your Mirror

Scrutiny.
You must scrutinize.
And I surmise you'll surprise
Yourself
With the tries and highs, lies and Phis
Hidden within your eyes.
Look hard and look deep.
Theres no need to anaesthetize
Your own thoughts
For I fear, you've fought
Battles with reflections before.
And will do so again - a war.
And scars: Scars - Your stars invisible to humanity
But do not put down your eyepiece
Kaleidoscopes seldom make neat
Perspectives of the world
But beauty they do not fail to feat.

And you walk by me everyday.
The same garments hiding mismatched socks.
And I see
Your thoughts bounce around like ideas
Trapped in total internal reflection
Let it out, Let them out
Like I unveiled before
That for a clear understanding of a world by a world
We must trust our first impression of each other and ourselves
And merge face, space and place
For a million ways of seeing may
Serve no purpose but haze images
So believe what you see in me
Because I see through your disguise
Regardless of black and blue skies
Regardless of irreparable broken ties.
Regardless of 'good day's and' good bye's.
For I am your purest truth.
I am your mirror.
