I Am Your Friend

When life's waves of anger hit, When you're surrounded by mad mock, Please be patient and don't quit, I'll be there for you, your rock. When you'll have no friends, through storms, When you'll think death is your fate, I will hold you in my arms, I will help you navigate. When you'll want to cry and scream, If you'll reach the end of the rope, I will be your living dream, I'll be there giving you hope. When the lightning strikes at once, and fear shudders you with wraith, When the devil at night hunts, I will be your shield and faith. When the drought is too severe, and you'll dry in heat and pain, I'll be there following you near, I will always be your rain. When your life seems like a ruin, and you'll think; there is no love, Trust me; I know what I'm doing, I'm watching over you from above. So, go on, a few more steps, Life is good, and I'm your friend, Trusting follow in my footsteps, Victorious, you'll reach the end.
