I am your friend
You didn't even let me
explain what I was thinking

I am your friend
I was going to help
or at least give some ideas

I am your friend
How do you know
that things wouldn't have worked

I am your friend
You just assumed that my
Idea was going to lead to problems

I am your friend
How did you even know
If you didn't even let me explain

I am your friend
You cut me pretty deep
And let our friendship spill out

I am your friend
Are you mine?
