I Am Your Christmas Tree
I AM YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE
I am so pretty, I’d like you to see,
As I enjoy people looking at me
Whether man, woman, girl or boy,
I’m here to only bring you much joy.
I’m vain, my family has made me so,
I've also made them proud, I know.
I am a Christmas tree and every year,
I will see both a sad and happy tear,
Every year, I’m adorned with a new decoration,
Making me even more of a fascination,
By Christmas Day I will be so much prettier,
Making my family so much happier,
Presents hidden in my boughs and laid at my feet,
Bring thrills, laughter curiosity, what a treat,
My decorations and silver drapes glisten vividly,
When photos are taken I think imaginatively,
From which side will I glisten even more,
For treasures of memories will be in store.
BUT I HAVE A SURPRISE FOR YOU
Yes I talk, and wish health and
Happiness to my near and dear!
My fairy lights will flicker and shine
Until we say Happy New Year.
