I Am Who I Am

I am the stillness amidst the storm,
A heart that's weathered, tattered, and worn.
The echoes of chaos shaped my refrain,
Yet I rise with purpose, through loss and pain.

I am the seeker, unbound, unchained,
A voyager of healing where scars remained.
From shadows of anguish, I’ve forged my light,
With courage to stand in the darkest night.

I am the love I once had to find,
A gentle soul with an overthinking mind.
The moonlight to guide, the quiet reprieve,
For I am the hope I choose to believe.

I am the child who danced in the rain,
The teen who faced heartbreak’s aching refrain.
The woman who learned, through trauma’s weight,
To carry herself with resilient grace.

I am the laughter, the tears, the fight,
The voice that whispers, “You’ll be alright.”
With a tribe by my side, my chosen ground,
I’ve built a life where love abounds.

I am who I am, unbroken, free,
The story I’ve written belongs to me.
A daughter of stars, a keeper of fire,
Forever becoming, forever higher.
