I Am Who I Am

I am like a plant
 I am like a tree
 we are all alike
 you and me
 I started like a tiny seed
 God had a wonderful plan indeed 
 and like a plant we need
 tender loving care
 so this Easter reach out your
 hands and share,

I am like a plant
 I am like a tree
 you and me
 water is needed to surround me
 as I grow from a baby to a teen
 love flowing like a river is needed
 you all know what I mean,

I am like a plant
 I am like a tree
 we are all alike
 we grow into an adult
 and try to choose the
 right husband or wife
 read your bibles you will see
 God has this wonderful plan
 for you and me,

I am like a plant
 I am like a tree
 I am growing older now
 my skin is wrinkling
 just like the changing of
 the colors on a fall tree
 see the roots of my life
 all my family and now grandkids
 it all go so fast just
 like day into night,

I am like a plant
 I am like a tree
 my life is now coming to a end
 remember what?
 it all in God plan
 think think of this
 on Easter Morn
 Jesus died and rose 
 from the died
 and all for our sins,
 so
