I Am What I Eat

My dear God, I feel sad today. I welcomed their Shakespearean tongue, And yet they cursed me for my sway, Though I like sweet ylang-ylang. Oh Lord, you are my daily food! I am what I eat, this you know. Help these hands o’ mine to be good To them; be my strength! Your son, O.

Beautiful Ernesto. I have not been able to read as many poets work as I would like. I missed church Sunday with this stuff. Hope it doesn't last through next Sunday. Glad to be back together again. God Bless, Cile

Such a strange piece..it brought to mind the eucharist...how do lines 2,3, & 4 have to do with being part of the body of God? I too love the scent of ylang ylang. Soup me so I can better understand? Light & Love
