I Am What I Am
If I knew… there need not be
Have you known… have you seen?
Did you wish not for what to see?
Is there that wish for that dream?
I would have known otherwise
You would have known the other
If I do, do you not deny?
Are there those words if not meant for another?
Those of words not meant to be
That of said… as well I do not hear
If seen ain’t never for one to see
What lies for one’s heart to truly dear?
I do not know until
Might I have known an otherwise?
Those of words… if only you knew
Need I for another to… lie
If your knew… there need not be
You have seen… would you have known?
