I Am Undone

Here I’ve fallen down on the ground
Slowly unravelling without a sound
My stitches are now all broken and frayed
My colour of skin has started to fade
I am undone

I am unfolding like bad origami
Crushed beneath the weight of a tsunami
Disintegrating like a tissue in rain
Ignored by my love who can’t feel my pain
I am undone

Please lock me away in the darkest jail
Let in no visitors don’t post any bail
Leave me to bleed my heart is holed
Let me unravel and let me unfold
I am undone

My spirit is weak it now sputters out
I embrace the blackness without a shout
I died all alone now on this cold floor
Locked out of her heart with its steel door
I am done
