I Am There

I had so much to tell you
And things I wanted to share
Of course we can’t do it now
For I am no longer there.

But you have to know I loved you
That’s the important thing
Nothing else matters too much
And I know of the peace it may bring

My life, in fact is over
But it was not at all in vain
Remember the love I have for you
It will always stay the same.

So light a candle at Christmas Time
And remember me in my rocking chair
You may even see it move..
Then you’ll know that I am there.
