I Am the Veteran

I AM THE VETERAN

I fought in the trenches of World War I
In the foxholes of World War II
I was in the Korean Conflict
And the rice paddies of Vietnam too

I've been to Afghanistan
Kuwait and Iraq
Spent long months away from home
I've been to hell and back

But the stars and stripes will forever wave
In honor of those who went to their grave
To ensure that America will always be
The home of the brave and the land of the free

The bells of freedom will continue to ring
All across the USA
And it can be said, without a doubt
Our veterans paved the way

Thanks, Mo, and forgive my late response. I often get in a hurry and manage to leave someone out. I'm just sorry it was you because you are so faithful to send congrats and to encourage.

Thank you, Line. I had the distinct honor and privilege to be in an audience with President George W. Bush this past weekend in which he paid tribute to Veterans. He, along with Dr. David Jeremiah, were part of a 4-day conference in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. I was pleased to have been in attendance. Thank you for your support and acknowledgment of our Veterans.
