I Am the Moon

I lay awake at night thinking of you
I wonder if you do too
Restless I toss
Heavy is my heart for a great loss

You're on my mind
True love really is blind
I don't want to dream of you
Because it will never come true

If I was a color I'd be blue
If I had to choose between day and night
I am the moon
Would you just love me too

When did you become a temptress
Leaving me in the dust
Where is your innocence
Can your love be my justice
