I Am Thankful For

I am thankful for many things,
even what a little thing brings,
like saying or hearing “thank you.”
A way people feel loved, valued too.

My life is the most I am thankful for,
as well as His presence in my life, for
there were many serious incidents when
I called Him; He was there again and again. 

My children, grandchildren and the joy
they bring and the togetherness we enjoy.
My siblings, my friends and they are near.
And I am thankful for today, I am here.
