I Am Sorry

I sit alone, miles apart from reality. Dreams swirling, clouding my days. I sit alone, trapped in a haze. She sits away, miles away from me. Is she dreaming, is she thinking of us? She sits away, is she concerned of the truss? We are alone, we can feel it in us. We are dreaming, a difference between years. We are alone, left to fight amongst our fears. I am stuck, wallowing in a depression. A changing voice, I’m fixing broken promises. I am stuck, I yearn for rekindled kisses. She has become free, though still trapped. A plan working, she’s finding her own way. She has become free, a sadness still at play. We are together, yet we are far apart. Why come to this, though we both need doses of joy. We are together, the sorrow kept us in their ploy. I am dying, I’m withering away. I’ve not eaten or felt alive for quite a while. I am dying, though a mind agrees, a body’s in denial. She is alive, how is she doing? Tough times follow, though she is so strong. She is alive, finding where she’ll belong. We are working, so many thoughts race. Happiness trying to keep up, that’s the plan above. We are working, to find our way back to true love. I am sorry, for the pain that I’ve caused. I am sorry, for everything I should’ve done. I am sorry, but I won’t stop until we’ve won. I am sorry, I hope the very best. I am sorry, only time can tell the rest.
