I Am So Sorry

When I see her angelic face I tear
I know this is His will but I fear
Eight years old she is you see
Yet rett syndrome her vanquisher be
Alas her each cry tears upon my heavy heart
Somehow I recall how this all came to start
Thankful I know I claim to be
Yet did all this ever strike me?
Her arms are feeble her head so weary
Untold glee she laughs whe she sees me
Silent tears fall as I reach out to touch
And wipe away drool accumulating so much
Faerie is what her sweet name means
For unnamed cures through books I glean
Yet I know that for my sister all time is lost
For hers is this gift, this treasure she has got!
