Ruby Austin-Drain Poet I do not know?

I Am So Blessed

Life it self scares me so 

As sometimes I know not which way to go 

Then something wonderful comes along 

To bring you a purpose to give you your song 

You are in control of the path you take 

It is your decision of the life you make

Left or right 

Keep  your eyes  on the light 

In a tunnel in the dark 

Ask for help and grab the spark 

He is always there for all of us 

If we want to believe and if we trust 

I lost my way but I am back 

As he does love us and allows us that slack 

My destination is still unknown 

But with what I have been given I have been shown 

I asked for guidance and it was given 

I asked for help and it was there 

I asked who to thank for this feeling inside me

And was told simply open your eyes my dear

It was there the whole time my mind was so blind 

I stepped over and around the whole time 

Not seeing who or what it was in my sights line 

My family and my friends are the greatest gifts that he could give 

Without them I couldn't go on I couldn't live 

Thank you so much for being this blessed 

And  for helping me see what I had missed 

And now that I know I will never again loose sight 

Of my purpose here is to stay in and fight
