Notes About The Poem

I am searching for a real Hero

Not a virtual or an actual zero

I am searching for many Heroes

And I want to earn many zeros

After any number greater than one

I want to go beyond the Heaven

But I don’t want to get high

I want to go high, high, high

And get as much knowledge that I can

And I want to say that yes, I can

Yes, you can, and yes, yes, we can

We can be better, better and prouder

And yes, we can love each other.

 

I am looking for an actual Hero

Who’s alive and well

A Hero who does not go low

Like a turtle at the bottom of the well

I am searching for a real Hero

With great personality and impeccable character

This Hero can be a man or a woman, a singer

Or a rapper, a priest or a pastor, a janitor

Or a doctor, a poet, a leader or a reporter

Unfortunately, my past Heroes are dead

But, I won’t stop searching for a fighter

I want stop looking until my eyes turn red

Until my brain is engulfed in knowledge and fire

Help me find a Hero, help me find many Heroes

Let’s be better than yesterday, let’s offer a rose

And a branch of olive to each other. Let’s fight

For a better future, humanity has the right

To live like human beings, to be free from greed and tyranny

To enjoy life, to respect and love each other like a baby

With a mother and a father. Oh! Yes, we can be each other’s Heroes

Where we won’t worry so much about earning too many zeros

After a number greater than number one

I am searching for you, because you’re my heaven

My star , my true soulmate, my model and my haven.
