I am rising

    (Rising... Yeah...)

I never liked your vicious games - 
The pain and heartache associated with your name... 

I never liked your dark heart - 
You liked to torture me and pull me apart... 

But steadily, I grew my strength and fought you back, 
My hidden gems presented true and helped me get my life back on track...

Because I am rising now, towards my highest self... 
I am rising steadily and I feel so powerful... 
I am rising, I am rising - stronger every day... 
I am rising higher and will be powerful always...

Like a phoenix, I rise up from the fire, 
Touch the heavens and make it mine;
Rising, rising, I own the power, 
No one can ever take me lower...
