Listen to poem:
I Am Right Here
Thy lent shadow tenders thee liberty,
In occasional fading of the sun,
Willed to oneness, stayed in captivity.
Rift recurs thy stained disability,
A jigsaw puzzle of thee spreads undone,
Thy lent shadow tenders thee liberty.
Thy severance stirs midst society,
Vacant faces go unanswered by one,
Willed to oneness, stayed in captivity.
Focused attention gifts simplicity,
A wanton fix since medicines begun,
Thy lent shadow tenders thee liberty.
Supervised courses thy anxiety,
Being cut-off, edges in its long run,
Willed to oneness, stayed in captivity.
Prayer capitulates thy malady,
Free to explore a memory homespun,
Thy lent shadow tenders thee liberty,
Willed to oneness, stayed in captivity.
