I Am Not Going Away

Whenever trouble seems to follow you,
when you have days of dismay,
just remember that I am right here;
I am not going away.

Whenever worry starts to overwhelm you,
whenever things are just not okay,
always know that I am right here.
I am not going away.

When the proverbial clouds are overhead
and things appear dark, dank and gray,
just know that I am right here beside you.
I am not going away.

Whenever you are filled with doubts,
and don't really know what to say,
never question my devotion to you.
I am not going away.

When your world seems to be crumbling
and your life is in complete disarray,
take solace in knowing I will never leave you.
I am not going away.

And years from now when my light is fading
and all we can do is hope and pray,
always know that in this world and the next,
I will always be with you, and never go away.
