I Am Not Alone

The stars are out,
Sparkling night,
Full with wonder,
The sun has just fallen.
A yellow fireball
Drowns in the sea,
Bearing the weight,
Burdens of doubt.
My drifting soul,
Is finally free,
Salt air therapy
Blew it all out.

A sparkling night
Speaks softly
To my hollow heart,
Murmuring hope,
To gaze and behold,
A sky full of stars,
Just to remind me,
I am not alone.

I like this, James. Great imagery. Truth deftly applied.
