I am More like Gumby
I am more like Gumby, because he was the boss
Pokey went along with him, mores to his loss
Gumby was bright, and slick, and confident too
I resembled his shape when I was but twenty-two
Gumby was friendly but solidly his own person, no doubt
He made big decisions, and followed them completely out
Pokey was more docile, sweeter, more like my sister I think
I was definitely more Gumby-like, I remember his blink.
Gumby was cheerful, but guarded, not too eager to please.
He did not bully anyone, make fun of them or tease
Neither did Pokey, in this way I am kind of like them both I guess.
I am sticking with Gumby though, he had a certain finesse.
