I Am Here

I am here
When you are lonely
And no one comes to town

I am here 
When you are hurting
And no one is around

I am here
When you are angry
And there is no place to sound

I am here
When you feel helpless
And there is no other ground

I am here
But you  don’t see me
When others come to town

I am here
But I’m not needed
When others come around

I am here
But you don’t hear me
When there is a place to sound

I am here
But you don’t feel me
When other’s are on the ground

I am here
As always
Whether anyone’s around
