I Am Here

When we sit and talk
Your spirit next to mine
I can sense emotion
In expressions I will find
Wondering where or when it will start
The fire pulsing within your heart
As you start talking
There is nothing to hear
The light in your soul
Makes the darkness fear
Thinking of the memories
Brings a heartbreaking tear
I can sense the pain is near
Just call my name and see
That I am here...
