I Am Here

Here I am
a feeble wisp of stale
warm breath
just about to kiss
the crisp air at dawn…

I am a lonesome fickle thought
drifting alongside a fluffy cloud
thankful that I too
get to be
a vessel for life
one more time

I, the hearty ripple
of an ancient mountain's loins
and a sturdy branch of this
fertile loam soil beneath my feet
that’s highly expectant with
the promise of renewed abundance

Here, as a tiny glittering
grain of golden sand
gently licked by frothy waves
as they sprawl across the sea shore
where I lie, soaking in the warmth
of Ra’s love as he rides
across the skies to worship
mother Gaia and anoint her
with the gift of fertility
once again

I am here
the warmth in a widow's lone tear
soon lost to the nippy evening breeze
Me, the melody of a bubbling brook
Here for now, as the faint sigh of a
heart releasing the past at last

Here I am,
the onset of a bud's slow
and timely yawn
the silent roar of a weary nod…
the waning ember of a spent lump of coal
the courage in sweet surrender
and the depth to a humble curtsey

I am the flash of lightning
in an eagle’s eye
but only because of the love
for life aflame in me still,
a broken shell

Here, I am, still
a part of all that is, for now
I am the peace within just being
For I too count as today
I am now
as life boldly declares on this day

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
