I Am Gods Gift
I am truly a gift from above
Though I did not always get treated that way
Or feel the right kind of love
If not for God’s grace I would not have even been born
Cause I was unwanted during pregnancy
No one knew I had a great destiny
At that time no one knew
Even though as I grew
That I am truly a gift from above
And should have been treated with respect and love
They ignored my brilliance
They ignored my good deeds
They only saw faults
And in me only sowed bad seeds
But then I found a church
That made me feel loved
Like I belonged
I spent almost two decades of my life there
Then I moved on
But I will always appreciate that place-like an alma mater to me
And they taught me that I am truly God’s gift on earth. They helped on my path to fighting Satan and learning the techniques to get free
