I Am Different

I Am Different

You make fun of me because I can’t talk or walk.
You make fun of me going down the halls at school, you call me names,
But it is ok. I acted like I don’t hear you.
Do you know why? You make fun of me. It is because you don’t understand. You don’t know, me, if you would just talk to me, and get to know me? We could be friends. But that will not happen will it.
My mommy told me that people will always look at me different no matter where I go, or what I do. She also, said, that I am beautiful inside and out.
That I was one of God’s special angels.
God gave me special parents to help me.
To raise me to make sure I have the things
I need and those things are not just material things.
They give me Love, Strength, Courage
And most of all they teach me about Gods Love.
They tell me that even though
I am different to others.
In God’s eyes, I am an angel with beautiful wings.
That one day in heaven, my wings will shine.
So I may not be able to do all the things you can do, but that is ok.
God will give me everything I need when I get to heaven.
Just like he does now. I don’t have to have everything like you do.
Material things are not as important to me, as they are to you.
Love of my parents and Gods Love is all I need now.
