I Am Coming Out
I spent years living in debt way beyond my means
Don’t judge me; if not these we all make mistakes.
Robbing Peter to pay Paul, as frequent oh how easy
It seemed. Now am on a journey, am coming out no
Matter how long it takes.
It started one day I’ll never forget, a reality check
That’s all it took. I decided it had to end, left alone
Without family, and friend, isn’t it just typical the people
You needed most abandon you, and left you in the deep end?
It took me years to get in this mess, and am afraid no quick fixes
But with discipline, perseverance, and self control I’ll stand the test.
To do all I have to do, and stay on the narrow road, with God’s help
I can only do my very best.
I AM COMING OUT no matter how long it takes, if I don’t
Take action now, my whole life would be at stake. My present
Would be in jeopardy and my future too. Am happy to announce
That I am moving in the right direction, it’s the right choice I make.
To be debt free is the best way to be, take my advice and stay clear,
From the things you don’t need, if debt you must face, creditors will lure
You to that place, without any trace, and if you’re not careful you’ll longed to
be free.
