blue

[ hear the song ]

Listen to poem:
Baby blue, my heart's with you; in the bayou, in the bayou. Gray clouds sailed, right on through; now I'm back with you, back with you. All my black moods, turned blue; all because of you, because of you. I sing the blues, all back in tune; with something new, something new. Those blues they aren't so, bluesy blue; since I found you, since I found you. Bluebirds flew where wisteria grew; in the bayou, in the bayou. Cornflower blooms bright in morning dew; blue's my hue, that's my hue. Midnight blues don't break me too; not here with you, not here with you. Skies shine deep blue, oceans wide too; I belong with you, with you. Oh baby blue, we're blue on blue; all bayou blue, all bayou blue.
