I Am An Egg
Look at me I am an egg!
Slightly cracked on the outside, plenty being said
I differ from so called regular eggs sat all around me
Don’t judge my appearance when you are staring at me.
Delve into my inner being, unlock my secret self, and you'll find the key
I am wired slightly differently inside of my shell
Living a life that resembles the worst imaginable hell
My yolk is all scrambled, poached and fried
My life an endless plane crash exploding inside
If you drop me I will fall, I will smash into pieces as I hit the dark wall
So wrap me with kindness, love and support
Don’t judge me from my appearance or the way I sometimes act
I am sick, tired, desperate for understanding, a most understated fact
I don’t need all of the King’s horses
I don’t need all of the King’s men
Those special to me, will one day, put me back to together again
