I Am Alive In You

I Am Alive In You
By David J Walker

I am alive in you
I live in the breath that
Passes your lips
And whispers the
Sweet words of late night

I live in the impression
Upon your breast that
Nurtures my very life

I,
	Am
Alive

And I live in the fragrance of
Your
Perfumed hair
I live in the carefully
Selected clothes
You wear

I am alive and
I am there when you
Awake
In the morning
I am the blanket
That warms you
When you sleep
At night
I weep
When you weep

I
	Am
Alive
And thrive in thoughts
We share

I am alive
In the bluest of
Your bluest eyes
In the earliest of the
Sunrise
And in the
Sunsets
That reflect shadows
That only we two
	Can bare

I am Alive and
The moon is the song
I sing to you

That delights the
Delicate lobes of
Your beautiful ears
That only I may kiss
And will not miss
Its opportune invitation

I
	Am
Alive
And will not live
Nor will I die
Without you
