If we only knew how fragile our lives are, we would perhaps live more cautiously than  precariously, more significantly than  carelessly, more Divinely than indignantly, more lovingly.

I AM A CANDLE A burning flame, one single life fire, Comprised of ambition, hope and desire. A wick by His breath of life ignited, Waiting and watching until His return is sighted. Am I just for the burning til no more? A yearning sustained by things hoped for? Youthful fiery flame a burning, time melting, world turning, alas, no more. Would not that I were in thine heart and mind. a Poet’s longing, there to find, Would not that I could forever be, As roots brached out from shores to sea. But lo the fate, of a candle's demise, faintly fading in silent cries. Am I for the loveliness of pain comprised, of a great song forgtten or never realized? To know me is to discover Love Divine, The reading of a life that’s one of a kind, A glimpse of God’s reflection, His revealing face, Love ever multifaceted, amazing grace, Yes, for I am a candle.
