I Am a Bad Dog Mama Today

Our new dog Buddy chewed one of my favorite sandals in half. The next week he chewed another favorite sandal in half; not a pair. I am out of sandals to wear now. I taped one with electrical tape but it did not last more than six steps. I thought he had chewed up one of my brand spanking new shoes this morning. I ranted and raved, screamed and yelled, I was a horrible puppy mama. I did not hit, because I know what that feels like, but I was a terror. My husband said he would clear off the top of the refrigerator So I can start putting my shoes up there. Handy huh?

I think that's a splendid idea. Also, may I suggest getting all of the shoes nobody likes and nobody wears and lay them where Buddy will find them. LOL Next, I say wear the pair of unmatched shoes, too, unless they are both for the same foot. In that case, give them to Buddy. WOW, he will be so pleased!

I said to my husband give him the ones he has already chewed up and he won't. Not wanting to "teach" him to chew shoes. We don't have to teach him; he is teaching us.
