I Am

I am the wind 
The morning star
The silver moon 
Shining so far

I am the mist
Upon the lake
And water lily 
For you to take

I am the night
The secret dream
And scary shadows 
That makes me scream

I am the day
With life to cope
Tears on my face 
I wish to stop

I am the eagle
Up in the sky
I am just me
Quiet and shy

I am the waves 
On stormy sea
I’m just a girl
I’m simple, me
