I Am

I'll always remember you
If only because of what you put me through
But it made me see
What I can truly be
We all learn things in life
I learned mine through strife
I may have fell
But it turned out well
I am who I am
The only bad thing in the end
Is that I can't find my old self again
Will it ever mend?
I am who I am
I have ran
From myself
Trying to see how I felt
It's not there anymore
The person I was before
I think its Ok, I say
I am who I am
No matter what comes my way

This is a very special introspective piece. You will become more and more as your days continue and still in ways that matter you will be the same. A belated welcome to the soup, you seem a thoughtful young woman.

I like how you gave advice on chasing the blues by putting yourself up as the example. VERY nice and congrats for your win.

Thanks! Yeah, the best way for me to visualize it is for me to think if it was happening to me. :)
