I Am ...
I am a brilliant girl
With a desire to achieve
People tell me things
And just put me down
The past is the past, but
They use it against me
I was born in a circle of love
But abandoned from blood
I am a girl with power
To make it out there
I have been lied to, been deceived
And left heart broken
I am what I am,
And I do what I do
I am trying to fight this battle
Against stress and anxiety
People can control my life
Put words in my mouth
Break my heart, and put me down
But I am a girl with a true
Desire to pursue my dreams
Despite those who despise me
