I Am

I am the hunter, deep in the valley
I am the eagle, above the quarry
I am the dagger, into adversity
I am the shackle, around conformity

I am the keeper, of the heart’s content
I am the fighter, caught in the cement
I am the hunger, across a plane of fears
I am the loner, after the smoke clears

I am the dreamer, aboard the ship of life
I am the floater, beneath the waves of strife
I am the diamond, impervious to pressure
I am the passion, no pain no pleasure

I am the all that, you envisioned for me
I am the everything, you bled so I could be
I will show you, even if you can’t see
Only because of you, I am the best that I can be
