I Am
I believe I am the sum-total of the strength of my beliefs:
I believe I am a human made from spirit, intellect and body;
I believe self-transformation thru karma is my reason for being;
I believe love is the answer no matter the question;
as a mother, I believe my child deserves all I have to give;
as a spouse, I believe in the power of a truly loving partnership;
as a daughter, I believe in a lifelong commitment to parents;
as a sibling, I believe brothers and sisters are the best friends available;
as an employee, I believe finding joy in one’s work is ideal;
as a boss, I believe team work and confidence building are vital;
as an American, I believe I live in one of the best countries on earth;
I believe play, sports, inside and outside games help us feel free;
I believe in creativity even if it’s simply coloring with crayons;
I believe in dancing just because the mood takes you;
I believe in clapping in church after moving performances;
I believe in my ability to create harmony where there is discord;
I believe in my ability to communicate where there is misunderstanding;
I believe in my intuition and sensitivity though both make me vulnerable;
I believe in changing life for the better so I’ve lived no similar decades;
I believe fear is the worst consideration in decision making
I believe I was born with many mismatched puzzle pieces seeking snug fits
that my beliefs gained me with each crisp snap into place with truth pieces.
