I Am
Woman – I am touched by womanliness full of emotion
Wife – I once touched by my partner in marriage now I dearly miss
Mother – I once touched by pregnancies of my children I dearly love
Chauffeur - I once touched by driving my family to engagements
Nurse- I once touched with caring for my husband and family
Artist – I am touched by beauty only I can see and touch
Teacher - I am touched with those that I could, can plant an inspirational seed
Poet – I am touched with a waterfall of sadness, joy, and love
Sister – I once touched by a sister, love the sibling that came into this world
Mother In-law – I am touched by those who share their love
Grandmother – I am touched with those that mirror my children and so adore
Daughter – I was touched by my dad my hero, and still embrace my mother
Friends - I am touched by those I hold close a flower bouquet
Peacemaker – I am touched by the flame that inspires peace and knowledge
Dancer – I am touched by the weightless and encouragement to move
Dog-walker - I am touched by wagging, jumping, and licks of embedded love
Child of God – I am touched by his presence and inspiration of life
I am mixed clay that was once rough as sand, dropped, spattered, and molded
I am flawed with the disorder of humanity, forgiven by the drops of crimson
