I Almost Died Tonight

I almost died tonight  
But I had to fight

A driver drunk as can be 
Almost hit me 

Heat pounding 
Legs shaking
Fear breaking 

I leap away from the murderous beast 
Just by a hair 
I can almost picture my self there 

Adrenalin coursing through my veins 
Thought and feeling that cant be tamed  

I could have just been dead 
Left broken and bleeding out 
Street covered in red 

Its all scary and surreal 
Everything around me I could feel 
Wind blowing 
blood flowing 

I almost died tonight 
But don’t worry I’m alright
