I Ain'T Fell Out My Rocker Yet

I've climbed mountains Just to holler your name I've seen the sunshine Through the pouring rain I've been so low I've seen the bottom of the well That dry asss dirt Is hotter than hell Which is where I am going For the things I've done I've never meant To hurt no one But then the sun sets And the moon forgets Life itself resets And I ain't fell out my rocker yet But I've climbed mountains Just to holler your name I've seen the sunshine Through the pouring rain I've been so low I've looked up at hell The water's on fire Down in the well Which is where I'm going If things don't turn around Point me towards the light I'm glory bound But then the sun sets And the moon forgets Life itself resets And I ain't fell out my rocker yet

Flippancy, irrelevancy, rock-steady captivating flow, delightful rhyme wrapped in a feeling theme - all buzzed my poetry awe. Love the poem and hope your rocking chair is always gentle with you and your pen ... CayCay
