I Accidentally Let One Loose
I Accidentally Let One Loose
I accidentally let one loose
my favorite pet golden goose.
From infant stage, it was growing up
forming golden feathers with flat beak sharp
in my private pond giggling and chuckling
with other geese, ducks and ducklings.
Being whelmed with its golden charm
I indulged the golden goose to leave farm
allowing to loiter free in my open yard.
It turned brave bold being never scared.
Other ducks and geese were kept captive,
where golden goose walked smart alert active.
I fed her myself, cared for her most, leaving the rest.
Could not imagine, she had an eye aiming to forest.
She turned splendid with shiny golden plumage.
In my farm she displayed her glorious image.
Her wonderful wings gained sufficient strength to claim.
In broad day light she spread her wings in sky and never came.
