I

I am a person known to few
I am an individual just like you.
I am a person unknown to most
I believe in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost
I am a symbol of individualization
With the understanding and realization
I can be whatever I desire
I can uplift and inspire
I can teach and be taught
I cannot and will not ever be brought.
Whenever I feel any dismay
I get down on my knees and pray
I ask the Lord to show me the light
I ask Him to watch over me tonight
So that I may see the light of day
And continue on the right pathway.
I am not self contained
I am not self sustained
I got here with love and support
I know like most we all fall short.
I know where I’ve been
I know what I’ve seen.
I know where I want to be
I know that everything I do starts here with me.
